High School Blues

Exams, friends, school balls, and locker combinations – it’s understandable that some kids can be left feeling a little bit stranded at the end of the day.

Recent Perth high school graduate Mim Kempson has recognised the need for connection between students, and also between students and adults.

She’s creating a book, a book that will contain a range of stories from high school students, telling of their individual experiences.

Youth Reporter Melissa Charlick spoke to Mim about her project, and began by asking her if there was a certain experience in her own high school that spurred her into putting the book together…
