Go Bare Day

What sacrifice would you find unbearable? What about not wearing make-up for the day or choosing to leave your mobile phone at home?

This Friday is GO BARE DAY and CARE Australia is asking you what could you bare to go without to raise awareness of the challenges faced by women and girls in Africa.

An omnibus survey found almost 60 per cent of Australians say they can’t bare to go without the Internet while 33 per cent couldn’t bear to miss their morning coffee, bringing to light the gap between Australia and developing countries.

Youth Reporter Sarah Motherwell asked CARE Australia CEO Dr Julia Newton-Howes about why we should try and bare it all on September 14.
