Big Red Ball

Have you seen the new guy around town? He’s around 3 metres tall, a big red fella that likes to wedge himself into architecture around the city.

He’s affectionately called the RedBall and after gracing its presence in countries across the globe, he’s here in Perth as part of Perth Festival. The 120kg RedBall has so far been spotted in Cottesloe, Fremantle, Subiaco, Wellington Train Station,even down south in Albany.

Youth Reporter Jude Reczek caught up with Kurt Perchke, the artist behind the Red Ball Project while he was in Northbridge.
