America - the land of the free. Where people can choose which candidate they vote for as well as whether or not they will vote at all.

The lead-up up to the US presidential election has been aimed at attracting as many Americans to the voting booths as possible, with some high-profile celebrities throwing their support behind the candidates. But what impact does celebrity endorsement actually have in the US political world?

Do the Donald Trumps and Katy Perrys of this world guide the political allegiance of American voters?
