Volunteering Forum

By EMILY WOODS

Last week was national volunteer week and on Saturday Volunteering WA held a Youth Volunteering Forum.

Held in Perth Town Hall, it was a chance for young people from a wide range of volunteering groups and organisations to attend.

We sent Youth Reporter EMILY WOODS to the forum to check it out and she spoke to a few young people about why they volunteer.

  1. Hey guys!,
Please check out www.FriendlyNeighborhood.org to recruit or become a volunteer. I created this site as a great way to start something new in your community as well as encourage others to join in! It makes it super easy to become a volunteer by simply registering and uploading your resume. If you are looking for a volunteer, simply register and start receiving updates about local volunteers in your community.

    Thanks,
    Rohit
