To Cull or Not to Cull

Five words that will determine the difference between life and death for a shark off WA’s coastline.

A study by Queensland’s Bond University has found shark nets and drum lines are not feasible options for shark attack prevention for WA’s coastline.

Having ruled out shark nets, the State Government is again considering the possibility of culling the shark population.

Youth Reporters Sarah Motherwell and Ben Harris investigated whether sharks pose an imminent danger to human life – or if humans pose an imminent danger to sharks…
