Relay For Life

By MELISSA CHARLICK

With one in three people knowing someone with cancer, research and raising awareness has never been so important. The Cancer Council Foundation is on the case, with numerous events and fundraisers being held throughout the year.

Relay For Life is a 24-hour relay-style event, which aims to increase both funds and support to cancer victims battling with the disease.

For the past two years, UWA has held it’s own relay on campus, and the response has been outstanding.

Youth reporter Melissa Charlick headed down to the uni to chat to some of the runners.
