Youth Reporter Ellie Murray-Yong headed down to Parliament House to engage in YMCA's Youth Parliament project. The project allows young West Australian's the chance to be politicians, if only for a week.
They have the chance to talk to current Members of the Lower House and the Senate, accumulating in a final Question time in the houses of Parliament.
Ellie May-Yong spoke to the organisers and those involved to understand what young people achieve from their week in politics.
