Science is the Future

In the science fiction comedy Back to the Future Part II, Marty McFly travels forward in time to 2015 – a time with hoverboards, fusion cars and powerlacing shoes.



Two years out from Marty’s destination and we are no closer to having any of this technology, but it has been the creative minds of science fiction writer’s that has inspired many scientific developments.



Today we may not have phasers or sonic screwdrivers or replicants - but we’re getting there, and you can find out how close we are at SciTech’s latest exhibit Science Fiction, Science Future.



Our in-house geek and youth news reporter SARAH MOTHERWELL transported to SciTech and explored the exhibit with SciTech exhibit experience coordinator Rachel Hughes…
